Five Lakes Resort is a family-owned and operated getaway, open each year from May through the end of September. Nestled along the shores of completely private Lake Five—accessible only to guests of Five Lakes and Fair Hills Resorts—this peaceful retreat invites families of all sizes to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

At Five Lakes, your days can be as full or as relaxed as you choose. Wander miles of wooded trails, spot a variety of birds, cast a line or take a refreshing swim, or simply soak up the sunshine from your favorite lakeside perch. The quiet charm of the lake, paired with our warm hospitality, will stay with you long after your stay ends.

Five Lakes Resort features six cozy cabins, each equipped with a full kitchen. Every cabin includes its own fully stocked firepit, plus a fishing boat with a battery-powered trolling motor—perfect for sunrise paddles or peaceful evenings on the water. For retreats and group gatherings, The Barn serves as a welcoming and versatile central meeting space.

Owned by the Kaldahl Schupp family and operated alongside the Fair Hills Resort property and office, Five Lakes continues a tradition started in 1926, when the Kaldahl family first began sharing the magic of Minnesota vacations. We can’t wait to welcome you into our vacation family.
